Although I enjoy Craig’s viewpoint and think he’s one of the truly bright marketing stars in the industry I wasn’t as impressed with the wine. Especially the Howell Mountain fruit, which I think has the opportunity to produce some truly classic wines in good years, it left something to be desired for me. I didn’t find as much complexity as I would have liked at that price point when I could go into wineries like Vineyard 29 for about the same price. One of the fun things about wine-different palates prefer different wines!
