Many thanks for your kind comments Gabe. Great tasting notes. I think you really nailed the style of this wine. The most important thing to us in making this rosé is that we pick the vineyard block from the start that will be the rosé. This gives us the ability to pick at the perfect ripeness when the acidity is just right.

Thanks for the nice comments on this release Gabe. I'm very pleased with this wine and appreciate you noting the restraint and proportion of the wine while it retains its Napa Valley power. This vintage was a first step for us as we seek to bring a more refined and balanced style to our Napa Valley Cabernets. Being powerful is part of the Napa Valley terroir, but this does not mean the wines cannot be elegant in their own right.

Hope to see you in Napa soon!

This does sound like a good example, but I'm curious what you think about the 07s vs the 08s? I found the 08s to be extremely ripe and over extracted, compared to a lot of years in Oregon. I'm curious if it will be a function of age, and if it will calm down in the bottle.
The 07s were so bright and balanced, while the 08s felt a bit too ripe - more CA than OR>

What's your opinion?
